midcentury modern chino canyon palm springs home

A Southern California native, I grew up in this modern home on Janis Drive, in the Chino Canyon neighborhood of Palm Springs, in the 1960s and ’70s. Today, this house would be considered a Mid-century modern home, but when we moved in it was just a new modern home.

Our family’s close friends, Hugh and Maureen Young, lived a few miles away on Alejo Road, in Frank Sinatra’s first Palm Springs home, designed by famed mid-century modern architect E. Stewart Williams. These days, I use my lifelong love affair with Palm Springs mid-century modern architecture to help other modern home enthusiast find their desert modern dream homes.

I’m a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty in Palm Springs, California (CalBRE#01849518) and I created this Palm Springs mid-century modern home website to help simplify the house hunting process for both local and out of area buyers.

Whether you’re searching for a mid-century modern condo, country club home, golf course home, luxury home, custom home, celebrity home, or bargain/fixer home, you’ll find it on this website and you’ll find it here easier and in less time.

Prices typically start in the $200,000 to $300,000s for condos and single family home fixers. Midcentury modern homes that have been updated typically start in the $500,000s. Some of the best examples of midcentury modern homes start at well over a million dollars.

If you’re looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Realtor, who knows the desert’s many midcentury modern neighborhoods and communities, I’d like to apply for the job and earn your business. And, best of all, there’s never a charge to buyers to use a buyer’s agent to help them. Commissions are paid by the sellers, so call me today and let’s get started before prices increase even further for these much sought after architectural gems!
